Year of Rabbit Chinese New Year Festival

Event Date: January 22nd noon to 4pm

Location: Dimond High School

Immerse yourself in the sensation of Chinese festivity during one of the Chinese community’s most exciting times of the year. There are three sections of the celebration: Performance Stage, Street Food, Carnival with Bazaar! This year, you will find traditional food options, over a dozen bazaar booth and traditional Chinese carnival games like ring toss, ping pong, mahjong and craft making. The Alaska Chinese Association’s New Year Festival has activities and entertainment for all ages. Enjoy Chinese folk dancing, opera, lion and dragon dance and much more at the entertainment stage. Make sure to get a family photo at the 2023 Year of Rabbit backdrop photo booth too!

*Member discounted ticket: You must be an active ACA member or join the 2023 ACA membership at check out if electing to purchase discounted tickets. Discounted ticket holders will be verified against the current ACA membership directory at the event check in.

*How to apply/renew membership: Membership can be purchased online this year! If you are a new member, please complete the application. Existing membership renewal does not need to send in application but please make sure your name entered at check out matches your existing membership. *Early bird discounts: All associated ticketing fees are absorbed by ACA during early bird window, estimated $2.50 saving per ticket. Early bird discounts end 12/31/22 at midnight. Starting 1/1/23 all fees are passed on to ticket buyers.
