Let’s Quest Again!

Scott McMurren and the Alaska Travelgram team are bringing together the top tours, guides, transportation and lodging companies for a week-long virtual scavenger hunt, exploring every adventure Alaska has to offer.

Multiple Ways to Win!

Top of the Leaderboard: Grand prizes will be awarded for those in the top tier of the leaderboard. Complete as many challenges as you can to be at the top of the leaderboard by the end of the week (this will often be someone working with friends/family and living in SouthCentral Alaska). 

Prizes of the Day: Complete the special daily challenges to ensure you’re entered to win our prizes of the day. We’ll do a random draw from those that complete these challenges. These are often trips for two from our favorite Alaskan tour companies.

Midpacker Mayhem: We will have some other positions to vie for (to be announced) to keep things interesting in the middle of the pack.

Out of Towners: We’ll have special prizes each day for those playing from outside of the greater Anchorage area. You may not top the leaderboard but we’ve got lots for you too!

Special Mention Prize: Each day the judges will choose some of their favorite entries to recognize those that have “wowed” us.

How it Works

The hunt will take place over 7 days. You will use the Eventzee app on your smartphone or tablet to track and complete challenges. From snapping photos, filming videos, to answering trivia questions about our beautiful state. Each challenge you complete gives you more chances to win!

Basics:

1. Designate a "Team Captain". This person will create a username and password for the Eventzee App. You may play on your own or enlist friends or family members to help you with the challenges. Only one person may be logged in at a time with your Team's username. The registered Team Captain is the person who will be eligible to win the prizes.
2. You only need to purchase one ticket for your team.
3. Must be 18 years of age to play. 
4. Maximum of one team per household. Individuals from separate households may be on a team together but will only be given one sticker (so you'll need to be in the same town).  
5. Put your Quest sticker on a refillable water bottle. You'll need to include the sticker in the photo and video challenges and having it on a water bottle makes it easy to carry around.
6. You may not transfer or duplicate your sticker. This is considered cheating and you will be removed from the game.
7. Most prizes are a trip for two so consider this when thinking about who might help you complete the challenges.
8. A smartphone or tablet is needed to play.
9. Judge’s decisions are final. 
10. You can play from anywhere around Alaska or the world (here's looking at you snowbirds!). 
11. Each challenge is worth a specific point value but judges are able to award bonus points.

Pick Up Your "Quest Sticker"

Last chance pick up: August 28 (SteamDot at Mid-Town Mall) between 9:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. only. We'll ALSO have a last-chance pickup in Palmer on Monday, Aug. 28 (Vagabond Blues, 9-10am). And if you still really want to play, you can! You'll just need to find us during the week to get your sticker.
