Witty Youngman, a descendant of King Island Inupiat and an enrolled member of the Fort Peck Sioux tribe, opens the night! The fourth born of ten rascal kids, Witty is the only musician and performer in her generation. "I grew up in a really small house with multiple generations living together, that’s normal where I am from. In my culture, it is a regular thing to spend a lot of your time with your grandparents, and I realize how lucky I am to have had that. I know where I come from and I am not afraid of not knowing where I am going."
