About This Event

The band will premiere the commissioned work Turns of Phrase by composer Tom Davoren along with music from the James Bond movies, and works by Aaron Copland, Morton Gould, and others.

Free admission to this outstanding concert is made possible due to the generous support of the Atwood Foundation.  Don’t miss Proclamations, presented by the Anchorage Community Concert Band, Sunday, April 12, at 4:00 pm in Discovery Theatre.

Anchorage Community Concert Band

Founded in 1981, we have been entertaining the Anchorage area for over 40 years. We are a symphonic wind band with over 60 members, who rehearse together weekly and perform 2-3 free concerts each year. Main concerts occur in early December and early April.
