ALASKA'S TOP TALENT
If you have what it takes to entertain our judges, as well as the entire state of Alaska, you could be walking away The Grand Champion in The Fight for the Spotlight and $1,500 in cash. We are keeping things socially safe: all entrants will upload a video of their talent which will be open to the public for viewing. Every video will be available for the month of February, so all over the state of Alaska, folks can pop some corn and watch the show. Our judges will be watching right along and will pull the Top Contenders to got through to the finals. During the month of March, those videos will be available for everyone to watch and vote for their favorite. The video with the most votes in each category at the end of March will be The Champion!
Comedy - Make us laugh!
Music - singers, bands, musicians of all kinds. If you create your music, this is your gig
Dance/Athletics - Dance as solo, couple or squad/team. Cheerleading, gymnastics, all athletics
Performance Arts - Magic, mime, pet tricks, anything entertaining that does not specifically fit the other categories
Each category will have a $500 first prize, $250 second prize, and $100 third prize.
The Grand Champion, with the most votes from all 4 categories will receive
an additional $1,000!
A portion of every entry fee goes to support the MTA Foundation, supporting furthering education for Alaskans.

Please read all rules before registering, there are no refunds once registered.
The show is open to anyone residing in Alaska.
Participant(s) will register through MyAlaskaTix, there is a $20 registration fee. Each participant will sign a virtual waiver in order to be considered. If the participant is under 18 years of age a parent or guardian must sign for them.
Once registered, participant(s) will load a video to the site, and include all information requested (name, talent, etc) at time of upload. This video must be their own creative property.
All videos must be uploaded prior to 2/1/2021 at 12:01am for consideration.
Contestants may only enter once per person, per category. An individual may enter with a separate act, for example, a singer may enter as a solo act and with their band, however they may not enter more than once as solo act.
Videos may be no longer than 5 minutes, recommended running time is 3 minutes.
Absolutely no profanity, or insensitive subject matter will be permitted. Registration will not be refunded for inappropriate material.
Participants will choose their category according to the following:
There will be a panel of three judges for each category. These judges will review every video in that category and select the finalists to go to the online voting round.
The first, second and third place winners in each category will be determined by the total number of online votes.
In the event of a tie, a final vote will be cast by the entire judges panel to determine the winner.
An individual may vote once per week, per category.
