The program includes gems by some of our favorite English composers. We can hear and imagine the clouds, winds, storms, and landscapes from Wenlock Edge and Peter Grimes, as well as the influences of World War I. Vaughn Williams and Butterworth offer us two very different settings of the same text. The songs in this program which typically require one person to embody multiple characters, will be interpreted by having each character played by a different person.
