In this prestigious event, Alaska Business and Junior Achievement of Alaska will be honoring influential, visionary leaders from the business community that have made a significant impact to the growth of Alaska's economy, created new opportunities, and elevated the educational landscape for youth in their communities in regards to financial literacy, workforce readiness, and entrepreneurship.

Junior Achievement of Alaska Honors Community Business Leaders

Business peers recently selected five outstanding Alaska business leaders to join the Alaska Business Hall of Fame - David Allen, President & Co-Owner of Allen Marine Tours and Alaska Dream Cruises, Randy and Chanda Mines, Owners of Bagoys's Florist & Home, Richard Owens, Owner of Jewel Lake Tastee Freez, and Rex A. Rock Sr., President & CEO of Arctic Slope Regional Corporation.

The induction ceremony into the Alaska Business Hall of Fame will be held January 20, 2022 at the Dena'ina Civic & Convention Center. Junior Achievement of Alaska, Inc. and Alaska Business Monthly are the Title sponsors of this event. Alaska Business Monthly will feature an interview and biography of each of the Laureates in the January 2021 edition.

In 1987, Junior Achievement of Alaska, Inc. began the Alaska Business Hall of Fame to honor outstanding individuals of Alaskan business. Since then, the Hall of Fame has become one of the state's most prestigious events, inducting new Laureates on an annual basis.

The 34th annual celebration includes:

• Reception beginning at 5:30 p.m.
• Dinner and induction ceremony at 6:30 p.m.
• Concluding by 8:30 p.m.
