Longtime Alaskans Inducted to the Alaska Business Hall of Fame
Induction Ceremony to be held in Anchorage on Thursday, January 14, 2027
Five outstanding Alaska business leaders will join the Alaska Business Hall of Fame at the annual Junior Achievement recognition event in January. Business peers recently selected Dave Cruz, Chairman of the Board - Cruz Construction, Perry Eaton, Sugpiaq Mask Carver & Artist – Kodiak Island, Rob & Stacia Gillam, President & CEO (respectively) - McKinley Management, and Gloria O’Neill, President & CEO - Cook Inlet Tribal Council. These business leaders are honored for their direct impact toward furthering the success and growth of Alaska’s economy, support toward Junior Achievement’s mission and programs, and demonstrated commitment to the Alaskan business community.
About the Alaska Business Hall of Fame
In 1987, Alaska Business Magazine began the Alaska Business Hall of Fame to honor outstanding individuals of Alaskan business. Since then, the event has become one of the state’s most prestigious events, inducting new Laureates on an annual basis. The event is a fundraiser for Junior Achievement of Alaska, a statewide non-profit organization dedicated to the economic empowerment of 20,000 K-12 students in Alaska.
About the Charity
Junior Achievement of Alaska is a statewide K-12 non-profit organization whose mission is to inspire and prepare young people to succeed in a global economy. Proceeds will help provide financial literacy, work readiness, and entrepreneurship classroom kits to 21,000 students in Alaska in 55 communities statewide each year.
Join the Celebration
The 39th annual celebration will take place at the Dena’ina Center in Anchorage, AK and includes a reception beginning at 5:30 p.m., dinner and induction ceremony at 6:30 p.m., concluding by 8:30 p.m. The evening will also include a special recognition of the many past inductees who will be in attendance.
Individual tickets are $175, tables of 10 are $1,750. Sponsorship opportunities available.
